The StormTeam Weather Alert Unit is a modified SUV with the latest in weather technology. This versatile mobile weather laboratory can collect critical weather data and broadcast live in almost any weather situation. It’s another advanced tool that the CBS 42 StormTeam uses to keep the community safe when severe weather strikes anywhere in Central Alabama.


 

Russell Marine will welcome wakeboarding Pros JD Webb and Cody Hess to this year’s 48th Annual Birmingham Boat Show January 24 – 27, 2019.

JD Webb rides for Team Nautique and will be debuting his new Relapse wakeboard at the show. Few riders in the sport today go as “BIG” as JD, whether he is riding cable or behind the boat. The former Rider of the Year continues to be a passionate ambassador for all aspects of wakeboarding.

Young gun Cody Hesse charged to the forefront of wakeboarding when he became the first rider ever to successfully land the long elusive “Triple Flip”, landing it in less than 5 tries with legend Scott Byerly watching on. Watch this video.

Humminbird/MinnKota factory personnel will be on hand to demonstrate the latest trend in marine electronics that is dominating the fishing and boating world, “side imaging” and “i-pilot”. The Humminbird/MinnKota factory personnel will demonstrate how to use the units to locate more structure and fish faster than ever before with gps guided accuracy with depth finder and trolling motor.
Seminars will be conducted at the following times at the Hummingbird/Minnkota trailer display:
Friday - 6:30pm            Saturday - 1:30pm and 6:30pm            Sunday - 2:00pm
Seating at the trailer is limited to 30 people.


 

United States Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 8-11 will have a booth at the show to inform the public of their various duties and opportunities available with their Flotilla. Stop by to watch their videos. Phil Ray is the Flotilla Commander and Tim Rosseter is the Vice Flotilla Commander.

Barry Hagan, President & D2 Representative of Alabama Hunter Education Association (AHEA), will have a booth at the show provided by Sylacauga Marine & ATV, Inc. The laser will be set up to promote gun safety and proper firearm handling.
